Ok ya'll, I'm still far too new to this whole thing, so bare with me ^^;
Anyways, yesterday me and Dev (marriland) went downstairs to play some Super Smash Bros. Melee, as we often do, but were "shocked" to find that the Gamecube was apparantly Shocked as well, because it didn't turn on v.v Stupid Lightning, when will we finally get everything replaced, and get on with things? Thinking "Aw man, that sucks, one more thing's fried" is getting really old by now.
But, on a brighter note, this morning I got my dad to give me his old Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, which I'm still adapting too, but I like them more than my old ones, lol. Hehe, so far I've taken my Dad's old Mouse, Keyboard and Video Card from his computer. I guess I actually seemed to gain something out of this whole Lightning thing afterall o.O Although I'd still rather it not have happened, but still, might as well make the most out of it, right?
today we went to that new Game Stop place near Wal Mart, (to look for a new Gamecube >.> ) and I must say, I was impressed. They had a nice selection of stuff, old and new! And it seemed getting a used Gamecube with a 1-year warrantee wouldn't be too expensive, which we think would be our best bet, cuz before that year is done, the Revolution will be out, and we can just play our Gamecube games on that =)
Today I also got the chance to read alot more of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which so far is awesome! I admittedly didn't get started on it for awhile, and only get to read a chapter or two every so often, so I certainly don't get it done really fast, but that's fine for me, I like it lasting a little longer anyway. I believe I'm currently on Chapter 18, and I'm really getting into it. But I have to ask to anybody who've read it - LEAVE ME SPOILER FREE! For now, I wanna save any and all surprises ;)
Also, just before writing this, it was our weekly Texas Hold'em Poker match. I actually have to say, I was feeling rather lucky, and seemed to be getting pretty good hands. I can remember several times I got an Ace and either a King or Queen or Jack, and got some good wins that way, but an early lost pot against my Mum earlier really cost me, and even after recovering some, I lost once again to her, and was eliminated. Ah well, I'll be back next week, and perhaps I'll actually win this time, as I've had a little losing streak lately =P
Well, that's about it for now, hope ya'll enjoy hearing me rant on about my everyday life as much as I enjoy ranting about it. lol.

Anyway, bro, you will be pleased to know that I RIPPED MOM APART! :D AND POPS TOO!!
Good job at ranting. You make me proud. :)

Did you have any memory cards in the gamecube when it got toasted.

Well, I'm gonna go on the belief that enough stuff has been lost, and atleast that much won't get messed up too *crosses fingers*

But, on the other hand, I almost wouldn't, as it might almost be fun to work on them again.
Bah, forget about it, nothing's gonna be wrong with our memory cards. I'm choosing to stay optimistic til we know for sure.
